I come from Recife, Brazil. I am Professor of Mathematics at Purdue. I teach undergraduate and graduate courses. My field of research is microlocal analysis and
applications to partial differential equations, geometric scattering and spectral theory. I was a Ph.D student of
Richard Melrose at
