More than 200 Purdue University faculty and staff gathered November 2, 2010 for Purdue's Excellence in Research Awards dinner, celebrating the accomplishments and contributions of Purdue's research community. Among the honorees were faculty members who had received college or school awards for outstanding research in 2010, along with 217 Seeds for Success honorees — principal investigators and co-investigators garnering $1 million or more in research grants.
Mathematics professor Greg Buzzard was recognized along with Purdue professors Ann E. Rundell (Biomedical Engineering) and Marietta L.
