Stefanov awarded Simons Visiting Professorship

Professor Plamen Stefanov spent fall 2010 at the Mathematical Science Research Institute at Berkeley, thanks to an MSRI award funded by the Simons Foundation. Each year MSRI awards a number of special Research Professorships to support distinguished researchers who spend time in residence at the institute. During his time at MSRI, Stefanov worked on inverse problems and applications.
