There will be two midterm exams and a final exam (most likely take-home exams).

Final Exam

Take-home exam. Deadline: 10:00am on Tue, Apr 30. (Submit in MATH 610 between 10:00–10:15am)

Your finial score will be calculated as the maximum of scores obtained by the two schemes 

Scheme I = (0.16)HW + (0.36)ME1 + (0.36)ME2 + (0.12)FE
Scheme II = (0.16)HW + (0.42)ME1 + (0.42)ME2,

where FE, MEi, HW are the scores (in %) for Final Exam, Midterm Exam i, Homework. Thus, you have an option to skip the final exam.
