Exam 2 solutions and grading

Sorry for the delay in posting solutions to
Exam 2. I have been waiting for a handful of
students with COVID and quarantine issues to
complete it. If you are in that group and are
still struggling to complete Exam 2, reach
out to me and we will come up with a plan.

As with Exam 1, it will be more educational
for you to grade your own Exam 2 papers, so
please find the solutions and grading key for
Exam 2 at

Take off 2 points for arithmetic and minor
algebra errors. Take off 3 points for integration
errors.

Please grade your paper and then report your
score via the fill-in-the-blank

"Exam 2 score" survey

in Brightspace, which you can access by clicking
on Course Tools and selecting Surveys from the
drop-down menu. Be sure to click on Submit after
you enter your score. (You can't check what you
input after you click on submit, but clicking once
is enough. If you take the survey multiple times,
I will use your last entry.)

I will look over your Exam 2 paper to check the
accuracy of your grading as I enter your scores
in the gradebook.

It is ok to show the answer in a different form
as long as it is a correct expression for the
correct answer.

I will answer questions about grading in Piazza,
email, and during regular office hours. I'd like to
have this all done by the last day of class, Dec 4.
