Exams
There are two midterm exams and one final exam. Two midterm exams are administrated on Gradescope. Midterms are open book/open notes. Ordinary calculators are allowed, including computer softwares like Matlab. Sharing exam problems or discussing them with others are strictly prohibited.
- Exam 1: open from 9 am, Mar. 3rd to 9 am, Mar. 4th on Gradescope, exam time: 70 minutes
- covers Chapter 1, 2 and 3
- Exam 2: open from 9 am, Apr. 7th to 9 am, Apr. 8th on Gradescope, exam time: 70 minutes
- covers Chapter 4, 5
- Final Exam: TBA

Textbook: Linear Algebra and its Applications (sixth edition), by D. C. Lay, S. R. Lay and J. J. McDonald.
The homework problems assigned in the table are handwritten homework. There is an online version of the textbook that comes with MyLab Math. You can find the online textbook following these steps:
- Login into Brightspace;
- Launch "MyLab and Mastering - Basis", then click the link "MyLab Math Course Home";
- Click "eText" on the left column to access the online textbook. (You might need to install Wolfram CDF player for "Interactive eText".)
Handwritten assignments should be submitted on Gradescope
Besides handwritten homework, there is also online homework on MyLab Math. Follow the first two steps above to access MyLab Math system.
